It is estimated that as many as half of all healthcare providers will experience the impact of the second victim phenomenon at least once during their careers. These workshops will explore the second victim phenomenon, the insights gained from healthcare providers as they experience an event, and the support interventions that have been demonstrated to have a positive impact on the second victim’s outcomes.
