This activity reviews current clinical guidelines to increase better patient outcomes.

1. Create evidence based concise clinical guidelines for SRS Physicians and mid-level providers to promote best clinical practices for common medical conditions
2. Increase collaboration between specialty and primary care
3. Support cost effective care by promoting appropriate diagnostic assessments, management and referral patterns

Cultural & Linguistic Competency and Implicit Bias Standards: This activity is in compliance with California Assembly Bill 1195 which requires that all CME activities comprising a patient care element include curriculum addressing the topic of cultural and linguistic competency, in conjunction with California Senate Bill 923 gender-affirming care, and in compliance with California Assembly Bill 241 which requires that all CME activities incorporate educational components to address factors identified as impacting the provider’s patient populations and disparities potentially caused and exacerbated.
