SHC 3rd Annual Lifestyle Medicine and Integrative Therapy Symposium: Whole-Person Care in Action 2026

To support the Elkins Center for Health and Healing:

This conference is designed to provide physician and staff education on integrative health that emphasizes an evidence-based approach to promoting optimal health and wellness. This includes what is offered today at Sharp HealthCare, concepts of Lifestyle Medicine, and opportunities to discuss these approaches as part of whole person health in support of wellness and treatment plans.

Accreditation:  Sharp HealthCare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 LMFT/LCSWLPCC/LEP Credit:  Sharp HealthCare is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs (Provider number:  130750).  Sharp HealthCare maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.  Course meets the qualifications for 6.00 hour(s) of continuing education credit for LMFTs. LCSWs, LPCCs and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.  For LMFT/LCSWLPCC/LEP disciplines, course completion certificates will be emailed to the email address provided on course sign-in sheet within 10 business days.

Cultural & Linguistic Competency and Implicit Bias Standards: This activity is in compliance with California Assembly Bill 1195 which requires that all CME activities comprising a patient care element include curriculum addressing the topic of cultural and linguistic competency, in conjunction with California Senate Bill 923 gender-affirming care, and in compliance with California Assembly Bill 241 which requires that all CME activities incorporate educational components to address factors identified as impacting the provider’s patient populations and disparities potentially caused and exacerbated.
