This Neuroscience Symposium is designed to address knowledge and practice gaps in the diagnosis, management, and interdisciplinary care of complex neurological conditions in order to enhance evidence-based, patient-centered care delivery across the continuum—from acute interventions to outpatient follow-up.

Objectives
Following this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe current evidence-based advances in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including emerging technologies and care pathways relevant to an integrated neuroscience service line.
  2. Apply multidisciplinary best practices to optimize acute and longitudinal neuroscience patient care, with emphasis on collaboration across neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, nursing, and advanced practice providers.
  3. Evaluate the impact of innovative care models on patient outcomes, access, and efficiency within a health system–based neuroscience program, using real-world examples discussed during the symposium.
  4. Identify opportunities to standardize and improve neuroscience care delivery across the continuum, including inpatient, outpatient, and transitional care settings.
  5. Translate symposium insights into actionable strategies for clinical practice improvement, program development, and quality initiatives within a comprehensive neuroscience service line.

Accreditation

Accreditation:  Sharp HealthCare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
