Sharp HealthCare's 22nd Annual Patient Safety Do No Harm Conference will focus on the impact of collaboration amongst multidisciplinary team members. 

This year’s conference will be held in-person at the Sharp Prebys Innovation and Education Center and virtually.  You may sign up for either one.  Attendees participating in-person will have the opportunity to sign-up onsite to participate in the Simulation Lab Escape Room activities following the conference.

Sharp Physicians, APPs and Employees - In-person w/ Sim Lab Escape Room - Complimentary - Sign up if you are interested in stepping into our immersive escape room experience designed specifically for conference attendees.  Work together with your fellow coworkers to unravel clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes as you race against the clock to escape within 20 minutes.  It’s the perfect way to network with other Sharp team members and unwind after a morning of professional enrichment.

Accreditation:  Sharp HealthCare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME Credit:  Sharp HealthCare designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

PA Credit:  PAs may claim a maximum of 3.5 Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
NP Credit:  AANPCB accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) issued by organizations accredited by ACCME as an equivalent number of hours of participation. 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credit = 3.5 contact hour(s).

ABIM MOC Credit:  Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 3.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

 

Accreditation:  Sharp HealthCare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

Cultural & Linguistic Competency and Implicit Bias Standards: This activity is in compliance with California Assembly Bill 1195 which requires that all CME activities comprising a patient care element include curriculum addressing the topic of cultural and linguistic competency, in conjunction with California Senate Bill 923 gender-affirming care, and in compliance with California Assembly Bill 241 which requires that all CME activities incorporate educational components to address factors identified as impacting the provider’s patient populations and disparities potentially caused and exacerbated.
